Organization Description:

The Student Mobilization Centre of the University of the Nations serves a growing network of YWAM campus ministries through internship programs, seminars, and schools. A key program is an eight-week integrated teaching/learning field assignment designed to prepare the student for revelation of the calling of God to every sphere of society. We are preparing students not only for traditional missions and ministry roles, but also for life work & calling in non-traditional but integral roles in the transformation of society.

Mission Statement:

To mobilize university students of all nations to respond to the Great Commission by knowing God and making Him known through evangelism, training, and mercy ministries through their life?s work.

We will achieve this goal by:
- Evangelizing with a variety of ministry tools.
- Discipling/Mentoring students by modeling a godly lifestyle and through providing various training opportunities - primarily in a live-learn environment.
- Imparting the thrill and wonder of hearing God?s voice and interceding for the nations.
- Serving students? needs for lasting friendship and caring community with a particular focus on hospitality to international students.
- Equipping students with an understanding that God is central to the learning process and that there are answers to the difficult questions that challenge their faith.
- Encouraging them to serve God?s purposes by utilizing their university training while expressing the knowledge of God in every arena of society.
? Partnering with YWAM ministries internationally, churches, student groups, and other organizations through projects, conferences, schools, and short-term outreaches.
? Proclaiming that the university campus is a key doorway for YWAM to reach and teach the nations - especially those in the 10/40 Window.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

The Student Mobilization Centre challenges Christian students and faculty from colleges and universities around the world to apply their educational and career goals toward the extension of the Kingdom of God and the completion of the Great Commission.

To accomplish this a network of Centre locations provides educational and ministry resource development designed in the context of students? studies and the Biblical worldview. As students/faculty make application of specific academic goals to serve the Kingdom of God, their motivation is purified and their calling tested; their commitment to the work of the particular discipline is inspired and their character developed.
