Urban Hope

Organization Description:

Since 1994, Urban Hope has helped meet needs of children who are victims poverty, family crisis, and economic disaster with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Urban Hope is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting Urban children throughout Connecticut and New England where 1/5th of America?s population reside.

Seasonal compassion programs include handing out 100 Boxes of Love, with the makings of a Thanksgiving dinner, and the Christmas Stocking Project. During the Christmas season, hand made stockings are sewn and filled by volunteers and personally delivered to children in the inner-city.

Urban Hope also runs a summer camp, Camp Hope, dedicated to bringing urban kids to a new environment, where they can learn about the love of Jesus while building memories that last a lifetime.

The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
