U.S. Dream Academy

Organization Description:

The U.S. Dream Academy is an innovative afterschool and mentoring program that helps young people become dreamers who realize their dreams. Our mission is to empower children with an incarcerated parent and youth at risk of incarcaration to maximize their potential by providing academic, social, and values enrichment through supportive mentoring and the use of technology. Through our three program elements, skill-building, character-building, and dream-building, Dream Academy nurtures the whole child, altering attitudes, enhancing self-esteem, and supporting emotional and intellectual growth. Our mentors play a key role in transforming a child's life through weekly one-hour meetings at the U.S Dream Academy Learning Center.
