Victory Ministries, Inc.

Organization Description:

Victory Ministries is a multi-faceted Family Assistance Center providing critical, emergency services to low-income families of Central Ohio. For 29 years, we’ve provided 160,000 meals and over 62,000 pieces of clothing annually to 19,000 individuals. After operating for several years in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood, VM relocated to a larger facility in northeast Columbus near the airport. There are many "working poor" and unemployed families in northeast Columbus needing additional assistance to feed and clothe their families. VM is located in a Columbus Enterprise Zone, an area officially recognized by the federal government as home to a large concentration of low-income residents. The focus of our Family Assistance Center is to promote self-sufficiency by providing clients with Next Step services such as: homelessness prevention, utility shut-off prevention, mental-health counseling and free health care for the uninsured.
