Virginia CARES, Inc. is a statewide re-entry organization. Our goal is to assist those individuals who are transitioning from incarceration back into local communities. Currently a focus in our organization, is the Second Chance Act Adult Mentoring Fathers Program. We seek to gain volunteer Mentors for fathers that are incarcerated and pending release; By matching them with a positive role model in the community that can help increase access to employment, education and pro-social support
