VistaCare Hospice

Organization Description: 

We are not a non-profit organization, however, we have a non-profit Foundation as part of our company.

Hospice is a philosophy of care for individuals and their families who are faced with a life-limiting illness. The focus changes from the cure of the disease, to improving the quality of life. Not only are the physical symptoms of the disease treated, but also emotional, spiritual and relational issues are addressed for both the patient and their families.

We offer care for the patient and family, help them establish new goals and are available for support 24 hours a day. A team of professionals including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides, and volunteers assist with care in whatever situation the patient calls their ?home? - whether it be their own house, a nursing care facility, assisted living facility, group home or even a shelter.
