Vita-Living, Inc.

Organization Description:

As our founder once said, "I want [my son] to have a vital life in the community...not away in an institution." Based on that statement, Vita-Living, Inc. was founded as the first community-based living alternative for individuals with severe developmental disabilities in Houston.

We are a provider of Home and Community-Based Services since 1987. Currently, individuals are supported in 18 group homes settings, foster/companion care homes or with supported home living services in their own homes. The main emphasis of the program is to help people to become and remain as independent as possible and to be involved in their community.

What's your legacy? Start yours by helping us make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities!
