VOLUNTEERS WORKCAMP OF GHANA (VWOG) Is a Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organization that is into the development to assist rural communities. It's main target is volunteerism where the individual does something very meaningful to the needy in the community.

VWOG volunteers have the chance of living with one another in a community or with host families. Our programs are all year round.

VWOG programs are designed to bring volunteers of all ages together from different backgrounds, placing them in the community and enabling them to respect and learn about each other culture and share their experiences in all aspects.

VOLUNTEERS WORKCAMP OF GHANA is a Registered Organization based in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. VWOG is incorporated as a non-profit and non-governmental organization in Ghana under the Companies Code, 1963(Act 179) from the Registrar General Department of Ghana with Registration No. G-15,538.

MISSION STATEMENT
To encourage volunteerism projects to help alleviate poverty and to ease environmental degradation in Ghana.


AIMS:
To Train the youth to acquire leadership skills.
To Protect the Environment by tree planting activities.
To support all forms of education in the rural communities.
To support micro-enterprise especially women and children in deprived areas.

Our main projects are based on tree planting, education (teaching), and voluntary labor on construction of community initiative projects, empowerment of youths and women projects and Primary healthcare Service.
