The Well

Organization Description:

What is the significance of "The Well"?

To rise or bring to the surface: to rise or flow to the surface from inside the ground or the body, or cause something to do this.
To grow stronger: to surge from within or grow stronger so as to threaten, to burst forth.
Source of something: a source providing a freely and abundant supply of something
Throughout the Bible and History, the well has been a place where communities are drawn together to fellowship while drawing water. As many containers as you brought, you could bring home with you from this source of water and needed supply for daily life.

Many times we miss the most needed thing in life as we journey on without being really fulfilled. We focus on our physical, mental and emotional needs, yet neglect our spiritual needs.

Just as the Samaritan woman in the Bible we go to The Well to get the water we need to sustain us, but we neglect our relationship with Jesus, the one who can really fill us and give us our life needs. After the Samaritan woman saw this she ran to tell her friends she had found Living Water. She invited them to drink from a well that would never run dry. They would never thirst or be in need again.

Run to the well of fellowship, love, discipleship and understanding needed in your daily life at The Well!

"See you at the Well."
