He is making a difference in our lives individually, and together we aim to make a difference on the whole planet, beginning at home in the Yakima Valley. We are a part of the greater denominational United Methodist Church Mission to "Create Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world" by focusing our ministry efforts in three ways. We are WUMC3 serving: Christ, Community, and Creation.

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
