Whatever Your Cross Ministries

Organization Description:

Who we are

Our names are Shirley and Tod Wilkinson. We are led by God on an important mission to help people with their addictions, their destructive behaviors, their substance abuse, their low self-esteem, their cuttings, their eating disorders (Bulimia, Anorexia, and Binge-Eating) and other things that have lead people to believe that there is nothing left for them on this earth. We want to help the abused as well as the abuser, the men and women who were incarcerated as well as the victims, and the men and women who think they have no one to talk to or no where to turn to any more. We have a mission to show others that there is a better road to life to travel down. We want to show others how to be cared for unconditionally. We will help people whom nobody else wants to deal with and show them the way to a God of their understanding. We want people to know who are giving up that we know how they feel. Whatever Your Cross employees have been through some trial in their life and have made it back to a better life. Some of Whatever Your Cross employees had lost everything (God, faith, family, friends, job, etc.) and now they are gradually getting it all back and living a better life.

We have been involved with this type of assistance for the last 14 years and have held meetings for the last 7 years for newcomers. We know that God is leading us down a path to help people through this ministry to bridge the gap between their addiction, God, and life. And life is to Live In Freedom Everyday

Mission Statement:

Our mission"''"
Whatever Your Cross is a non-profit organization of individuals coming together for the good of the cause of helping others with addictive disorders. Our mission is to offer our hand and provide support when crisis comes and therefore reducing the impact of suicide, whether short or long term, in the community. Substance abuse is a form of suicide and we have more people dying from drugs and alcohol more this year than last year especially our children. Our purpose is to educate people and make the public aware of the still suffering alcoholic, drug addict, rape victim, victims of crime, etc.and to help people find the way to a better life and learn to live again. We are a source of information on treatments centers, rehabilitation center and rehabilitation programs dedicated primarily to provide related information so the individual can make an informed decision that can change the course of their life or that of a loved one. We are dedicated to provide related information concerning grief, mourning, sorrow, eating disorders, cutting, posttraumatic stress disorder, rage, and anger. We want to lead people to have a spiritual experience in their life on the road of happy destiny. We do not give or provide medical advice or treatment, but we will help locate medical treatment if it is necessary.
