Organization Description: 

Widow Orphan Development Organization (WODO) is a voluntary, not for profit community based organization initiated in 2008 . WODO works with the rural poor and disadvantaged communities with the aim of improving their livelihoods by implementing development oriented projects/programs in the areas of health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, income generating activities and sustainable agriculture.

Our target beneficiaries include: Orphaned and vulnerable children, widows and disadvantaged women, youth, elderly and people with disabilities. WODO promotes community empowerment by building local capacities to improve livelihoods.
