Interested in creating grants for the North Carolina (specifically Forsythe County) area.
The foundation is deeply interested in funding programs that promote their commitment to generosity, inclusion, integrity, and excellence.
They also value the strengths and assets of their community residents, believe in establishing long term bonds of trust and cooperation in an effort to increase social capital within the community, and compiling contributions from individuals that represent a hosts of different backgrounds and perspectives.
Primarily awards grants in North Carolina, but has a history of awarding grants in Texas, New Jersey, and California

Must submit a Preliminary Application; the Preliminary Application is generally accepted on the first day of every month beginning on November 1, 2006.
The Foundation will not provide funding to individuals, nor for long-term operating support purposes.
Projects that ordinarily receive public funding will not be funded by the Foundation
The Foundation will not fund religious activities that either solely serve members of a single congregation or promote a particular faith (for more information, please refer to the Winston-Salem Foundation website)
