Women With A mission

Organization Description:

Women With A mission is an international grass roots, non-profit, charitable organization with no political affiliations based in Uganda. Our main focus is sustainable development through education, entrepreneurship and a volunteer program that helps empower women and children of East Africa.

WOMEN WITH A MISSION intents to spread its operations in the neighboring countries namely: Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda through partner organizations and community based groups. WOMEN WITH A MISSION is currently in the process of acquiring 501(c) (3) status in the United States of America through our International Volunteer coordinator.

We provide self sustainable homes for orphans and vulnerable children through long term programs and short term service trips that deliver quality care, shelter, food, water, clothing, health care, social work, mentoring and education.

Through the generosity of the members of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Indiana, we are currently running a poultry farming in the outskirts if Kampala which we hope will tremendously increase sustainable capacity to provide health care, education and economic development programs in Uganda.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

Our volunteer organisation doesn't discriminate against race, religions, color, origin, sex, gender or social status. Though OUR volunteer program is inclusive of all people from all walks of life, we have what we believe in. Our statement of Faith is very clear:

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood and in His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
WE BELIEVE that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a godly life.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE in the imminent return of Christ in person, bodily, visibly and that He will establish His Kingdom.
