Believe
New member classes and corporate prayer are held at 10 a.m. on Sundays. The purpose is to introduce potential members to the vision and beliefs of WFAM. Participants establish and deepen relationships which promote spiritual growth and maturity.
Belong
Members are encouraged to attend monthly programs which provide opportunities to discover the truths of God’s Word in small group settings which encourage practical application in every area of life. We strive to give the economically disadvantaged and at-risk children and youth a safe place to grow. Further information regarding personal growth conferences, retreats and youth activities will be provided upon request.
Become
Believers are commissioned to reach out into the community with the love of Jesus Christ. Opportunities to serve are provided through mentoring programs, adopting schools, nursing homes and hosting neighborhood social events.

Pastor Emmanuel Michael Penn is the senior pastor of Word from Above Ministry and he specializes in compassionate counseling, sensitivity to the needs of those seeking a deeper relationship with Christ and true nurturing of the lambs of God. He has earned the Family Development Credential issued by Cornell University. He strives to strengthen believers, because strong individuals make strong families, strong families make strong churches and strong churches make strong communities. His faith in the power of the Word of God to transform believers into spiritual champions is evident by his teaching and leadership style. The ministry is established upon four pillars: Individual salvation; Family Reconciliation; Church Activation; and Community Restoration. Through these pillars he equips believers to live a life of victory and gain a global insight to their Divine destiny. He has completed prophetic prayer counseling and Biblical Foundation Counseling training in addition to serving as a church leader (Altar Ministry, Cell Group and Youth Ministry) for the past two decades at Christ Fellowship Atlanta and Victory World Church of Norcross. Pastor Mike has also served as a mentor, coach and athletic director specializing in Family Ministry. He is the founder of Molding Mighty Men organization, which disciples young men through athletics. His ministry teaches biblical principles for life through the fundamentals of athletics. He is passionate about mentoring young men in athletics and their Christian walk, teaching concepts such as team sport strategy, fundamentals, and teamwork; the development of Christian character and self-discipline that will carry over into every area of life.
Minister Althea Penn is married to her best friend and high school sweetheart. They are the parents of two beautiful daughters who are certified educators. You can usually find her curled up with a book and her grandson Michael. She was licensed by Zion Missionary Full Gospel Church in the early nineties and has been about the Father’s business every since. She has over twenty years of experience in Christian education and discipleship serving as a Bible teacher, Children’s Ministry pastor, and Christian school principal. She and Pastor Mike have served as cell group, men’s and women’s ministry leaders throughout that time. Althea has earned a Masters degree in Christian Education Administration, certification as a Prophetic Prayer Counselor by both Elijah House and RTF Ministries, in addition to being a certified Early Childhood Educator and possessing the National Administrator Credential. She has completed training through the Biblical Counseling Foundation as well. Althea serves as a featured conference speaker and professional development facilitator for The Georgia Preschool Association, the National Black Child Development Institute, Kid’s Advocacy Coalition, Quality Care for Children, The Association of Christian Schools International and many other organizations. As an educational consultant she has trained hundreds of Administrators of preschools and provided guidance in the accreditation and licensing process. This well-rounded background equips her to empower and inspire others to reach their full potential in Christ.
