World Sending Service
World Sending Service has three main operational areas:
- project facilitation as indicated in our mission statement;
- mentorship of facilitators;
- resourcing people through the resource centre.
Ruimte Resource Centre is a division of World Sending Service (a non-profit and Section 21 organization), which is evangelical in doctrine, non-denominational in affiliation, and inter-denominational in practice.
Ruimte Resource Centre serves to further God's kingdom by:
* serving ministries, churches and individuals largely through Ministry Exposure Retreats, but also one on one through our office services
* training small groups with specialist seminars
* reaching out to local communities through strategic partnership development.
We have a strong commitment to forge partnerships, especially resource partnerships by strategically linking needs with supply. Ruimte was acquired in a miraculous way in 2001 and dedicated by believers in October 2002 for this purpose.
The 5 hectare property is used as a base; a home for teams and groups through Ikulendawo Self-Catering, office space for our hosts, World Sending Service, accommodation for personnel, with over 4 hectares being a green zone for walks, bird watching and relaxation. The lapa and adjoining communal lawns and pool with a beautiful view is used for small group training, special functions and relaxation space for personnel.
