Youth with a Mission

Organization Description:

YWAM (pronounced: why-wham) is a diverse, global, Christian, volunteer movement from many nations, backgrounds, ages and cultures; sharing their faith through meeting practical, spiritual and physical needs, offering training in more than 800 courses and seminars for service in all spheres of society. YWAM currently operates in over 1,000 locations and 180 countries, with over 18,000 staff.

YWAM run a lot of outreach opportunities, whether in the UK or abroad. These are fun to join, have training sessions and then go to the streets to share Jesus with peoples through using the arts, giving, serving the churches, etc etc.

Courses where faith for money can take you deeper into God and train/ equip you for missions are available. YWAM starts with a Discipleship Training School ( DTS) to give people a foundation to Christianity and the way people lived and then an outreach that goes out to many countries to serve and be Jesus to people. YWAM run many many different types of schools at a second level, so check out the website to find out more. Some of the schools at The Kings Lodge include DTS, English For Missions, Voyage Through The Bible, English for Missions Portuguese, Introduction to Primary Health Care(IPHC), Discipleship Bible School, Bible Core Course. Youth & Family Ministry.

YWAM is not created to take people from churches, we want to train people to return to their churches with great understanding of God and more equipped to help their church. We work alongside churches as volunteers and seek to serve the church to perform as God intended it to.
