This week you will research and write the background information for your Final Project Business Report. You will organize the background information into a compelling business presentation to demonstrate your understanding of the issue. You will develop a presentation that you will also translate into the background section of your Final Project Business Report. This presentation will include both informative and persuasive sections. Do your best to avoid the obstacles to effective presentations noted in this week’s readings.

Overview of This Week’s Content

To find resources for your presentation, narrow your topic and plan your search for information. Be aware of ethics, selecting reliable content, and avoiding plagiarism. Stay organized, and be a wise consumer of Internet information. Last, compile your information into a coherent series of main points. For a successful oral presentation, do your best to avoid obstacles to understanding, such as language expressions (i.e., unknown to other listeners), cultural perceptions, and ethnocentrism.
