Based on the first six months we project the following outcomes:
Regional:
1. New organizational accounts: 100
2. Volunteer opportunities posted: 100-150
3. Partnerships developed: 2 Major 10 Minor
4. New user accounts: 600
5. Site traffic 5000 visitors
6. Volunteers matched: 75
National:
If we replicate each city to post and recruit volunteers, our 16 staff teams could reach and/or exceed the following goals:
1. New organizational accounts: 600-800
2. Volunteer opportunities posted: 300-350
3. Partnerships developed: 3 Major 15 Minor
4. New user accounts: 1200
5. Site traffic 10,000 visitors
6. Volunteers matched: 200
Work plan outline (first 3 months):
In order to achieve the above six month projections the following three month plan of action will be taken:
Collect contact information for all staff from HLIC who will be working with CV.
Update current database with correct information.
Send out emails to city site staff regarding CV website usage and procedures.
o Work with National Director to send out an official email to all staff with volunteer coordinator’s contact information.
Set up training session with staff coordinators and HR personnel.
o Create a presentation specific for staff of HLIC
Complete website modifications prior to official launch.
Develop a plan to call organizations directly.
Develop a short list of 5-10 key national or regional hub partners that our organization has that would be willing to pursue partnering with on volunteering.
Develop a list of electronic resources our organization has that they would be willing to share online through a “creative commons” license: presentations, documents, tapes, videos, CDs.
Set goal milestones for the end of 2007 for all outcomes
Track progress on goal milestones for all outcomes.
Our first priority will be to train our own staff on registering and posting on the CV site. We will work with our 16 city teams and our national team by providing conference calls and announcements in our monthly inter-office newsletter with information on how to use the CV site. Once our own staff is trained we will then train them on reaching out to our 1200+ partner ministries and Para-church organizations. This will enable us to reach possibly exceed our current projected numbers for the next six months.
