If you had the dollars to translate and distribute the JESUS film into a language, which language would you choose?

To answer the question you need a list of languages and dialects, their inter-intelligibility, their populations, their unevangelized population, availability of scriptures and other JESUS films, and suitability of trade languages. Gathering the data and analysing it is a research task, and without it you'd probably just go with a language familiar to you which may or may not be the most needed.

The World Christian Database, for one, seeks to provide the data to answer questions like this one so that mission executives can allocate resources strategically.

Missions need research, and research needs IT people with missiological understanding.
