The Children Are Crying

1. There are more than 100 million street children around the world who live in fear every day of their lives. UNICEF estimates that there are 10,000 homeless children in Cd. Juarez, Mexico alone.
2. One million children are forced into sex markets every year to serve the increasing demands of tourists, organized sex tours from industrial nations, and drug trafficking.
3. Five million children under the age of five die annually of dehydration caused by diarrhea and other intestinal diseases.
4. Every minute, 15 children in the world die for want of essential food and inexpensive vaccines or vitamins.

1. Tapestries of Life Ministries (TLM) is currently constructing an orphanage on 27 acres of land in Guadalupe, d.b., Mexico. The dormitory is in the shape of a "cross", and is over 55,000 sq. ft. It will house 400+ children. A separate nursery will house up to 12 infants.
2. Tapestries of Life has a mercy ministry which responds to the immediate need of the poor by delivering food, school supplies, blankets, shoes, coats, and medical care items to thousands in our sister cities of Cd. Juarez, Anapra, Guadalupe, and surrounding areas of Mexico.
3. Tapestries of Life brings groups of teenagers and adults from throughout the United States, Canada and Scotland to work on-site to help build this orphanage. We provide a working, as well as spiritual, experience for them on their mission "with a purpose". At this time we’re bringing in approximately 24 groups annually.
Tapestries of Life is a US based organization that takes seriously the Christian mandate to take care of widows and orphans. In order to accomplish this mandate, Tapestries of Life is focusing on two large initiatives all for the glory of God.
The first vision that God laid on our hearts is to build an orphanage in Guadalupe Mexico, which will be the largest orphanage in all of Latin America. Although there is a lot of work that needs to be completed, God has blessed this project.
The Biblical mandate to take care of the widows and orphans is in the process of being fulfilled in the orphanage that is being built at in Guadalupe, MX. This orphanage will house over 400 children and the government promised to fill it within 24 hours of when itÂ’s doors open with a small percentage of the over 7000 children that are living on the street in this area alone. This orphanage is being built by churches in America, Canada, Scotland and all over the world. May GodÂ’s name be praised. However there is a lot of work that still needs to be done.
The second part of the vision is meeting the immediate daily needs of today through the mercy ministry. We are providing much needed food to the poor of Mexico. Many of these items are provided by donations specifically for this ministry or by the work teams involved in the distribution.

The Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God’s son, that man is created in God’s image, that He created us to have fellowship and eternal life through no other name than Jesus Christ.
All men have sinned and come short of God’s glory, God has made salvation possible only through the shed blood and death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
Repentance, faith, love and obedience are fitting responses to God’s initiative of grace towards us.
The Holy Spirit’s power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishment of Christ’s commandment, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Making disciples from all nations.
We believe that pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
TLM is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus Christ personally to this generation through our actions and lifestyle.
TLM is the inner weaving of the lives of different people, different churches, different cultures, and different people’s talents and gifts to make a beautiful tapestry for life, which is only found in Christ Jesus.
